Нужно взять комнатное растение с крупными листьями. Один его лист помещают в прозрачный полиэтиленовый пакет, который свободно пропускает воздух (сам лист срезать нельзя). Второй лист помещ. в такой же пакет, но только воздух, который будет попадать в этот пакет, предварительно пропускают через раствор щёлочи, поглощающий углекислый газ. Через несколько дней листья сезают и опускают каждый лист сначала в кипящую воду, а затем на несколько минут в горячий спирт, пока листья не обесцветятся. Потом листья промывают и обрабатывают йодом. Обрабатыв. именно йодом, потому что от него сенеет крахмал. Тот лист, который был в пакете без углекислого газа не окрасился в синий цвет, значит в нём не было крахмала. Опыт показ., что растению для образов. органич. вещ-в необходим углекислый газ.
