There is almost nothing in our lives that is not touched by language.Some people learn foreign languages for travelling, studying abroad or for business, others want to read books, see films or sing songs in the original.Nowadays English has taken the position of a global language.In some countries it is used as the mother tongue, and in others people learn it as the second language at schools.There is no doubt that English is the language of communication between the people of different cultures.It is also the language of computers that help to communicate with the people around the world through the Internet technologies and e-mail.People use English in various fields of life such as business, science, economics, technology, medicine and aviation.In addition, it is the language which is used in tourism and travelling.There are many ways of learning a foreign language at school.To master English pupils have grammar and vocabulary drills, read texts, make up dialogues, learn words in isolation and in context, write tests and speak about different things.If you want to brush up your English, you can watch videos and educational programmes, play games, have concerts and parties in English.Many people learn foreign languages outside school or after classes.They take an English course outside school or have private lessons at home, have a pen pal or just go to an English speaking country.Teenagers can go to an international camp or have a student exchange with a foreign school.English has become a necessity today and we need to practise it more if we want to speak English more fluently and correctly.

RobotsРоботыThe era of robots is approaching. It’s the result of scientific-technical progress. These mechanical agents were created to help people with hazardous work and daily chores. And, indeed, they are capable of doing many things. They can perform any operations, according to the program installed in them. For example, they can help with the laundry, do preparatory work for cooking meals, answer the phone, pick up objects, and even deal with radioactive substances. If we think over this issue, we will realize that we have already robots at our houses. They don’t only come in the shape of an electronic man, they are also regarded as automatic machines for performing various work. Most household appliances are like robots: a dishwasher, a washing machine, a clothes dryer, a microwave, a blender, a vacuum-cleaner, etc. These intelligent machines help us on everyday basis. They have significantly changed our life to the better. Speaking of realistic robots with two hands, two legs and a head with built-in computer, these creatures might be very useful in the future. Perhaps, every house will have at least one robot to provide help with a repetitive, boring work. Other than that, robots can be exploited to do the most difficult and dangerous things. They are already sent to explore other planets or to explore deep underwater. They are used in factories to build cars and other electronics. It seems that the only way we can get such things done is to entrust them to robots. In my opinion, the future of scientific progress is impossible without them. I’m sure that humanoid robots with Artificial Intelligence will be used by new advanced generations.Приближается эпоха роботов. Это результат научно-технического прогресса. Эти механические агенты были созданы, чтобы людям с особо опасной работы и повседневной работой. И, действительно, они на многое. Многие предметы бытовой техники и есть роботы: посудомоечная машина, стиральная машина, сушилка для одежды, микроволновая печь, блендер, пылесос и т.д. Эти умные машины нам на ежедневной основе. Они значительно изменили нашу жизнь к лучшему. Говоря о реалистичных роботах с двумя руками, двумя ногами и головой со встроенным компьютером, эти существа могут быть очень полезны в будущем в каждом доме будет, по крайней мере, один такой робот для с рутинной, скучной работой. Кроме того, роботы могут быть использованы для самых сложных и опасных работ. Их уже отправляли изучать другие планеты или исследовать подводные пространства. Они используются на заводах для сборки машин и прочей электроники. Кажется, что справиться с такой работой можно, только доверив ее роботам. На мой взгляд, будущее научного прогресса невозможно без них. Я уверен, что человекоподобные роботы с искусственным интеллектом будут использоваться новыми продвинутыми поколениями.
