You will be given a card which asks you to retell a short story about a particular situation. You should include your ideas while telling it. You will be given 1 minute to prepare your talk and then 1-2 minutes to speak. Your classmates prepare the questions to ask you on the topic. Romanian Avalanche
In 2003, a British politics student named Ken Jones took a holiday from his studies and traveled to Romania, where he wanted to scale Moldoveanu Peak. He almost made it to the summit when the earth shook and a pair of avalanches dumped tons of snow on top of him, trapping him helpless on the mountain. He managed to walk ten miles through the freezing cold over the next three days to a remote Transylvanian village, where a local doctor saved his leg and his life.

Indonesian Tsunami
The massive tsunami that was in Indonesia on the day after Christmas in 2004 still stands as one of the most devastating natural disasters in recorded history. In all of the chaos as waves up to 100 feet high covered the Indian Ocean coastline, some interesting stories came to light. One story was about a small boy named Martunis, who was washed away while playing soccer in Indonesia and spent the next 18 days floating in the ocean. He was finally rescued and taken to a hospital.

The King is killed and Simba is led to believe by Scar that it was his fault, and so flees the kingdom in shame. After years of exile he is persuaded to return home to overthrow the usurper and claim the kingdom as his own thus completing the "Circle of Life".

It’s a huge structure on the bank of the river Thames in Westminster district of London. The building connects with the Trafalgar Square and Whitehall Street. Originally, from 1529 the palace has been the English monarchs’ residence. After the fire in 1834, the building has been completely rebuilt and now it serves as the place of British Parliamentary meetings. The building contains about 1200 rooms, 100 stairs, and 5 kilometer of halls. The biggest and the oldest part of the building is called Westminster-hall. It was erected in 1097 and occupies the area of 1800 square kilometers. This room has once served a place of the English Supreme Court’s sessions. Many prominent people were sentenced to death here, among them, Guy Fawkes, Thomas Moore, Charles I and many others. Westminster Palace has several high towers. The most famous of all is Big Ben. Everybody knows that it’s the biggest clock in the world and that it’s the symbol of Great Britain. Another well-known tower is the Victoria Tower. It’s a bit higher than Big Ben. In 1987 the Westminster Palace and the adjacent Church of St. Margaret were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
