People in Britain send cards to each other for lots of  reasons. More cards are Christmas than at any other time of the messages as each person sends an  average of 20 cards to relations, friends and business colleagues. Families decorate the houses with the cards, which have pictures of the countryside in winter religious scenes or  photographs of animals. People do not usually write messages on the cards and just write their names. The next most popular cards are for people's birthdays . Birthday cards for children special  show the age of the child and may show pictures of cartoon animals or of famous footballers. They have a  short poem or greeting inside and a space for the sender to  write a personal message. People also send cards on other  famous occasions. for example a wedding, the birth of a baby, a get well soon  wish to someone who is  ill or in the hospital and 'good luck' cards for people about to take examinations or driving tests. Yes. greetings cards are big business and their producers make big profits.

The special day for me is 8th of March. Women in all over the World celebrate this day.  In this day all men congratulate their mothers, grandmothers and sisters. The history of this day is rooted in the past. Women fought for rights, equaled to men's rights.
They wanted to stand on the same level with men.

In 1908 of 8th March women of New-York came out to achieve reduction of the work time and equal conditions in the salary. And there was a demand to give a suffrage to women. From this moment begins a history of fight for women's rights.

In the 8th March i congratulate my mother because i love her and that's why this day is special for me.
