This important and memorable day for all the people not only in Russia but also in dozens of other countries. For our family it is expensive is the fact that my great-grandfather Ivan fought at the front, was seriously wounded in one tank battles near Vitebsk, but was able to survive and together with fellow soldiers get to Berlin. My grandfather talked a lot about the exploits of his great-grandfather. Now it is no longer with us, but I always keep the memory of it. May 9 my family go on parade, lay flowers at the obelisk to soldiers who fell in the fight for their country during World War II.
