The Ostankino Tower The Ostankino Tower is a radio and television tower
in Moscow. It is 540 meters tall and is the tallest
tower in Europe. It was built in 1968. Thanks to the
Ostankino Tower, more than 15 million people
in and A Moscow can listen to the radio
and B television. But the tower is also very
beautiful. When the weather is C _ many
tourists visit the Ostankino Tower to D at
Moscow from its observation platform which is 337
meters high. Next to the observation platform there
is a restaurant. It takes 58 seconds to get to the
observation platform and the restaurant by lift. But
it is also E to get there on foot. Every year
sportsmen from different countries run up the
stairs in a competition. The latest record was set by
a German sportsman who made it to the top in just
9 minutes and 51 seconds!

My school is rather big – it is a five-storeyed building. The building is modern – it was built about ten years ago and everything is new here. There is also all necessary equipment in the gym and other classes. The canteen is very light and clean – it is on the first floor. My favorite subjects are History, English and Economics. My favorite teacher teaches History, she is also our form-mistress. To my mind, the best place in the school is a library. I like visiting library, we can also study here. It is very cozy and very-well organized thanks to out librarian. During the breaks I like to chat with my friends and discuss interesting events. In a few months I will have my final exams. I will miss my school very much.

Мои любимые предметы – это история, английский и экономика. Мой любимый учитель ведёт историю, также она наша классный руководитель. Как мне кажется, самое лучшее место в школе – это библиотека. Я люблю посещать библиотеку, также мы можем учиться здесь. Она очень уютная и хорошо организованная благодаря нашему библиотекарю.
