Bialowieza Forest is located in Brest region, is one of four national parks in Belarus and is the largest forest in central Europe.
The reserve is located 340 km south-west of Minsk. The administrative center of the park is located in the village of Kamenyuki Kamenetz district, 60 km from Brest.
At 20 km from the Bialowieza Forest is Kamenetz, whose territory stands the White Tower - a watch tower built in the XIII century. It is believed that this monument gave the name of the forest.
