My name is Josie and I come from Brazil. I am living in London and working in a café. I have been here for three months and I really like it, but I miss my family and friends too. I want to go back home at Christmas, but I don’t earn very much money so I can’t afford the flight. I phoned my brother yesterday and he is going to visit me next month. Maybe I will ask him to lend me some money. When I eventually go back to Brazil, I will never forget my experience here in England.

This summer I went to the country to stay with my grandparents. Этим летом я ездил в деревню к своим бабушке и дедушке. 

I stayed there for a week or two. Там я пробыл две недели.

I went for long bike rides.  Я катался на велосипеде.

Summer holidays are the happiest days for me.

I don’t go to school.

I  don’t do homework.

I don’t have to get up early.

Summer is when I can visit my relatives and go to another country to rest.

I usually play different games, ride a bicycle, go to the cinema, listen to music or go shopping.

Summer holidays are never too long for me.

 I hope that my next summer holidays will be the same or even better!

During my summer holidays I made many new friends, read a lot of interesting books, got to know a lot of useful things.

Now I feel ready to get back to school.

I am happy to meet my friends and teachers.
