Russia is a constitutional republic, the head of state is the president (Vladimir Putin). In Russia there are a lot of plains, mountains, forests, steppes, rivers and lakes. Here is the deepest lake in the world - Baikal, 1,600 meters deep. The climate in the northern part of Russia is arctic, in the central part is continental, in the southern part is subtropical. Russia is very rich in minerals and substances. It produces oil, natural gas, coal, iron, gold, copper and much more. In addition to industry, agriculture is well developed in Russia.
