My grandma has got a new smartphone but she isn't very good with technology. She can't even use her TV's remote control very well! She says it's because she and her friends didn’t have mobile phones or remote controls when they were young. I knew there weren't any mobile phones in the 1950s but I didn't know people at that time didn't have remote controls!
Then Grandma told me about other things they didn't have. They didn't have microwave ovens or blenders in the kitchen. But worse than that, the Internet didn't exist and they didn't have computers, USB sticks or games.
