i don’t think someone who lost should be disqualified, unless they’re cheating. It’s unfair to treat people who didn’t succeed like that, they deserve a chance to get better. If they failed in some category, whether they were performing on stage or playing soccer on the nationals, I think it’s help them get better at that category. At very worse, you can remove them from your team or ask them not to compete if theyre going to drag you down along with them. maybe, what they’re lacking is courage and you can cheer on the person to prove that it’s okay.
some people may think that the person is bad and voice their opinion, and even if the said is true, its better to encourage the person rather than make them feel even worse about it.
