You have received a letter from your English-speaking pen friend, Max.
…My new school looks OK. I felt a bit stressed during my first days there, but my new classmates were quite friendly. I hope I’ll make new friends here and everything will be alright...
...What does your school building look like? What sports facilities can you use there? Would you feel upset if you had to change your school and why?...
Write her a letter and answer her 3 questions. Write 100–120 words. Remember the rules of letter writing.
Hello Max,
I was very pleased to have received your last letter. I read it carefully and understood that you had been nervous at that time like me when I had come to school for the first time ! But after a while I felt much calmer and got used to school routines.
My school is a three - story brick building built in 60's of the twentieth century. It is the square building decorated with some fancy carvings that had served as a bank before, but then it was reconstructed and turned into school.
As to sports facilities, we have an indoor swimming pool with a number of showers next to it, a bunch of stationary bikes in the basement (the latter is very well ventilated, so children exercising there don't have trouble breathing), and over 20 treadmills that are so popular nowadays. Of course, we have a gym situated on the second floor with all the other sports equipment kept there. Thus, one can do practically any kind of exercise depending on his or her choice.
Referring to your question about enforced changing school, I can honestly say, that yes, I would be terribly depressed if I had to leave it. You see, I have made so many friends here and have set up friendly relations with other pupils that it would hurt me badly to leave school.
Well, I think that's all.
Waiting for your soon reply,
(Имя сюда свое на английском)
