Tim’s grandfather lived at the seaside. Tim often visited him. In their last school
holidays he went there with Mike. They were there 7 days. The first days were sunny and the
boys went swimming. After that they had rainy weather, but it was good. They spent all the

On Friday night there was a storm in the sea. The next morning the boys had breakfast
and ran to the beach. They sky was grey. There were a lot of bottles and boxes on the beach.
They saw something in the water. It was an old boat. The boys could read the name on
it “Seagull”. The boat was full of stones and sand. So they couldn’t pick it up. At that
moment somebody spoke behind them: “Oh, that’s “The Seagull”. “It was on this beach
many years ago. It disappeared on a stormy night like last night.”
