This summer I spent in Moscow. I didn't go anywhere. In spite of this fact it was wonderful! I could sleep how much I wanted and I met a lot of my old friends. I also have been learning cooking. I even made a tiramisu by myself! I also visited my grandparents. They were so happy to see me and I was glad too. Granny helped me with my cooking skills. We cooked mostly soups and meat. Then I returned to my house and spent there another month. Nothing special happened in that period I was just relaxing and preparing for school. Finally I'd like to say that spending holidays at home isn't that bad!

I woulldn't have needed to borrow it form the bank. 4. The driver said he could not undergo thorough testing before he joined the competition. 5. It's time we went. If we do not leave now, we will miss the last train. 6. Were you cut off while I was talking to you just now? You were? I think something must have gone wrong with the telephone. 7.The manager is talking to an important customer at the moment but he will be free to see you presently. Would you like to take a seat for a few minutes? 8.I know I ought to have written to you before, but I have been so busy recently that I did not have time for (writing) letters, I would have telephoned you instead, but I had forgotten your number. 9. When I last saw him, he was living in London. He told me then that he was thinking of emigrating to Australia, and he may well have done so by now. 10. I am very excited at the prospect of going skiing. It (would have been the first time I tried. I think there's nothing like skiing for making a holiday enjoyable. 11. I wish you had let me know you had not been able to come to dinner. I certainly would not have gone to all this trouble if I had known. 12. He said he did not want to see the firm as he had heard that it was not as good as the critics suggested.
