His father was a former boxer and a guitarist at the local R&B band. Michael was known to have many troubles with his father, who regularly whipped him and verbally abused. As a child Michael was afraid to sleep alone in his own room as he had nightmares. When he was only five, he was already a member of a family music band “Jackson Five”. The Princess is known for her charitable work and as the only member of the British Royal family, who participated in the Olympics (competed in equestrian competitions at the Olympic games 1976 in Montreal and took 24th place in the individual championship in triathlon). In within 1986-1994, he was the President of the International equestrian Federation. IOC member since 1988, head of the Commission for the election of members of the IOC (English. IOC Members Election Commission).
December 29, 2010 she was born first granddaughter Savannah Phillips, daughter of Peter Phillips, and, accordingly, the first granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II.
