Пересказ текста на английском: With an average annual temperature of -5.5°C, Russia is the coldest country in the world. The Russian winter lasts for five months, from November till the end of March, and causes extensive transportation difficulties. Throughout history, the Russian winter has offered protection to Russia by keeping away her enemies and as a result, has been referred to as ‘General Winter’ and ‘General Snow’. The average and minimum temperatures in various Russian regions differ. The severe winter is in Yakutia, with temperatures falling to -60°C. In the European regions of Russia (west of the Ural Mountains) the winter is not as cold, with average temperatures rarely falling below -15°C. However, it is sometimes much colder and during the winter of 2005/06, temperatures averaged from -25°C to -30°C in Moscow during the whole month of January.

My Future Profession

When I grow up, I will become a police officer. I am sure it is a very important profession in our society.

When people get into trouble, when something threatens their lives, they ask the police for help. Every day we see different incidents on the news, such as bank robberies, thefts, stolen cars and houses being broken into. The police help when someone goes missing, help with emergencies, keep order in streets and in public places, solve crimes and protect property. I know that police officers must be honest and responsible people who love their work. I know how difficult this job is. It can be stressful and dangerous. Not all people trust the police nowadays. But I believe that I will be able to make a difference.

I want to help people in need and keep them safe because there is no better feeling that rescuing someone or saving a life.
