I strongly agree with people who say prisons don't make criminals better. Я согласен/согласна с людьми, которые говорят, что тюрьмы не меняют преступников к лучшему. In my opinion, it's just a waste of government money and is a danger to society. Я считаю, что это просто трата гос денег и угроза для общества. First of all, inmates go through stress and rough long sentences, which cannot leave them unaffected. Во-первых, заключенные испытывают стресс и проходят через тяжелые, долгие заключения, которые не могут не повлиять на них. They leave prisons with mental scars and no job opportunities, which will only make them commit more crimes.
