William Shakespeare
The last half of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th is sometimes called the age of Shakespeare. Although the name of William Shakespeare is well-known in the world we know very little about his life.
He was born on April 23, 1564 in Stratford-on-Avon.
His mother, Mary Arden, was a daughter of a farmer.
His father,John Shakespeare, was a glover, who had an office on Stratford-on-Avon.
Little is known about William's childhood. He got education at the grammar school.
He got married to Anne Hathaway and he had three children, a boy and two girls.
William lived in Stratford until he was about 21, then he went to London.
There is a story that Williams first work in London was holding rich men's horses at the theatre door.
But nobody can say whether this story is true.
Later he became an actor and the member of the big acting company
In a few years he became a well-known author. He wrote 37 plays and 154 sonnets.

Самый счастливый день в моей жизни - это день моего рождения. Проснувшись поутру, приведя себя в порядок, я принимаю поздравления от родных. Затем мы с мамой готовим праздничный стол. Чего только нет на этом столе! Здесь и фрукты и различные салаты. Но самым долгожданным лакомством будет, конечно, торт. Мама приготовит его сама. К вечеру  за столом собирутся все мои друзья. Ах, как весело в этот день! Игры, конкурсы, различные шарады. Каждый получит свой приз, никто не уйдет домой обиженным. А самым счастливым буду, как всегда, я.  После ухода гостей, я разберу подарки. Жаль, конечно, что такой счастливый день бывает только раз в году.
