The main hero of the fairy tale of GH Andersen "Steadfast Tin Soldier" - a toy soldier, cast from tin. Together with other tin soldiers, he was given one boy for his birthday. I must say that the main character of the fairy tale differed from his brothers in that he had only one leg. For the manufacture of these soldiers used a tin spoon, and it tin just barely enough. But the soldier stood steadfast even on one leg.

All these soldiers were presented to the soldiers on the table, where there were many other toys. The most beautiful toy was a cardboard palace, in front of which there was a mirror lake with swans. On the threshold of the palace stood his hostess, a dancer, on one leg. She liked the soldier so much that he thought only of her.

When everyone in the house went to sleep, the toys came to life and began to play by themselves. From the snuffbox, behind which stood a soldier, an evil troll jumped out. He did not like the soldier looking at the dancer, and the troll held his anger.

In the morning the children moved the soldier to the window and, from a gust of wind, fell out onto the street. The soldier was looking for, but not found. It was raining hard and the ditches were full of water. Two boys, passing by, found a soldier. They decided to build a boat for him from a newspaper and send it on a trip across the water. The current was strong and the soldier quickly carried away into the river. He stubbornly endured dangerous swimming and thought about the dancer. At some point the paper boat began to sink, but the soldier never got to the bottom of the river. He was swallowed by a large fish.

In the belly of the fish it was dark and crowded. But the soldier was persistent, he patiently endured all difficulties. The time passed and the soldier saw the light. It turns out that the fishermen caught the fish, and from the market the cook brought her to the house where she began to cut. It was a miracle that the soldier again got to the same house where his journey began. The delighted cook took the soldier to the children. He again saw the familiar toys and the charming owner of a cardboard lock.

At that moment, one of the boys, probably, trained by the evil troll, suddenly grabbed a soldier and threw it into the stove. From the heat of the flame, a soldier made of tin began to melt. And just then, from the gust of wind, the cardboard dancer took off and landed right in the furnace flame, next to the tin soldier. She immediately burned down, and the soldier by that time also melted.

In the morning, the maid found in the oven only a lump of tin, which looked like a heart and a burnt brooch that had once hung around the neck of a cardboard dancer.

This is a short tale.

The main meaning of the fairy tale "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" is that stamina sometimes works wonders. If there is the ability to endure all adversity and deprivation, then you will necessarily return to those whom you want to see. In this tale, through the fault of the evil troll or by accident, a sad end, but the main characters of the fairy tale, in the end, were together.

The tale "Steadfast Tin Soldier" teaches you not to pay attention to envy and hatred, which sometimes comes from some ill-wishers. To be persistent means to be able to overcome difficulties and not to bend under the blows of fate.
