В Великобритании большинство детей проводят свободное время дома, смотря телевизор и по дому. А еще они слушают музыку или читают. У многих детей есть увлечения. Они отличные коллекционеры, они собирают почтовые марки, открытки или наклейки с изображениями любимых футболистов или поп-звезд. Молодежь гуляет на улицах и парках, посещает центры городов и осматривает витрины магазинов. Некоторые молодые люди используют часть досуга для заработка денег подработкой в магазинах по выходным, развозкой  газет или же соседям убраться в лужайке или помыть машину. Дети тоже вовлечены в разные клубы и организации: они идут в скауты или в Бригаду мальчиков и девочек. Дети любят смотреть и заниматься различными видами спорта: футбол, регби, крикет, плавание, конный спорт, теннис и многие другие.

1.Children are great collectors, they collect stamps, or postcards, or stickers of favourite footballers or pop stars. Also some of them fond of reading and listening to music.
2. Children go in for football, rugby, cricket, swimming, horse-rid­ing, tennis and many other games.
3. They work­ in shops at weekends, deliver newspapers, help in the yard or wash the cars for people in their communi­ty.
4. Children are involved in different clubs and organisations: they go to the Scouts,* Boys' and Girls' Brigades.
