The central area of the city consists of two areas - the Samara area and Glory. They merge into one large space , on which the local "White House" , a monument of Glory , the Orthodox Cathedral , the Eternal Flame , gardens , and fountains. The architecture of the Samara area now has a distinct style of monumental Stalin era. In the center of the square is a square with a monument D.Ustinovu (Minister of Defence in the government of Leonid Brezhnev ) , a native of the land.
