December, January and February aren't winter months. Winter in Russia isn't cold, especially in northern regions. The sun doesn't set early and doesn't rise late. The rivers and lakes aren't frozen over. Nothing is covered with snow. The air isn't frosty. Winter isn't the coldest season of the year. Sometimes it isn't cold, that the temperature doesn't fall to thirty degrees below zero. Going out in such nasty weather isn't very pleasant. Sometimes it isn't slipper and we mustn't be careful when crossing the road. Winter isn't a good time for sports. People don't go in for skating and skiing g isn't popular, not as a kind of sports, but rather as fun. Children don't like to play snowballs. Winter in Perm isn't long and cold. There aren't thick low clouds in the sky. The snowflakes don't fall from the grey sky. It isn't wonderful to observe nature in winter. Nothing looks fresh and mysterious. As usual we don't get tired of long winter days and we aren't happy when spring comes.
