Beauty and the Beast.
One day Beauty took her magic mirror and saw in it that her father was very ill. She went to the Beast and said, “Please, let me go to see my father. He is very ill.” “Go if you must, Beauty,” said the Beast, “but, please, come back in a week or I shall die without you.” Then he gave her a magic ring which took her home that very moment. Beauty was very happy to see her father again, and she took great care of
him during his illness. When her father saw Beauty safe and sound he soon recovered. But Beauty was so happy at home that she forgot all about her promise.
