Have you ever heard of a creature called a blobfi sh? It hit the headlines (0) it was
voted ‘the world’s ugliest animal.’ The blobfi sh, (1) natural habitat is deep in the ocean
off Australia, spends its life swimming around in the dark, largely unnoticed. However, various factors
have reduced the numbers of blobfi sh to dangerously low levels and, in (2) of this,
conservationists are trying to take action to save it. (3) addition, some conservationists
have suggested that previous projects have ignored the blobfi sh (4) to its ugly appearance,
and that people are not keen to protect species (5) they look cute.
