Exercise 14. Try to enrich your vocabulary:
a) find words in the text which have the same meanings as the following
words:
to contain, to believe, the means, to study, to get, a kind, to talk, data,
various, to be responsible for, a diploma, to want, to continue;
b) find words in the text whose meanings are opposite to the meanings of the
following words:
informal, narrow, bad, different, the beginning, old, to give up, small, before;
c) replace the words in italics with the words with similar and opposite meanings:
1. This road is rather broad. 2. They study different subjects. 3. They want
to continue their education. 4. The children are eating with good manners.
5. They were reading the text at the beginning of the lesson.

Большинство промышленных изделий и полуфабрикатов принадлежат генеральных грузов. Генеральных грузов являются наиболее ценные из них. Они требуют расходов много труда во время погрузки и разгрузки. Хранение и транспортировка много тары являются очень дорогими.

Генеральные грузы составляют товары следующих типов: мешки, брикетах, стволом, в штучной упаковке, металлов и техника, тяжеловесы, грузы в пакетах, контейнерах и лесные грузы.

Обычно общие грузы перевозятся по-разному.

Часто единиц особенно тяжеловесных грузов перевозится на палубе. Локомотивы, грузовых автомобилей, ящики тяжелого машиностроения, такие как трансформаторы и чрезвычайно большой длины тяжелой древесины и небольших партий грузов, генеральных грузов, которые могут повредить другие грузы, также данного палубе укладки.

A rather large plus of school uniforms is that all students are dressed equally and do not envy each other. Parents of some children can not buy expensive clothes for their children and therefore nobody will be upset and envious if everyone is equally dressed. But despite all this, wearing the same clothes every day is very boring, so some students sometimes do not put on school uniforms as it bother them.
