My daughter woke me around 11:50 last night. My wife and I had picked her up from her friend Sally’s birthday party, brought her home, and put her to bed. My wife went into the bedroom to read while I fell asleep watching the Braves game. “Daddy,” she whispered, tugging my shirt sleeve. “Guess how old I’m going to be next month.” “I don’t know, beauty,” I said as I slipped on my glasses. “How old?” She smiled and held up four fingers. It is 7:30 now. My wife and I have been up with her for almost 8 hours. She still refuses to tell us where she got them.

Сегодня был плохой день, потому что была плохая погода. Сегодня было дождливо. По этому я не смог пойти гулять. Но дома мне не было скучно. Весь день я провёл со своей младшей сестрой. Мы игрались и смотрели мультики. Также я читал ей сказки. Но потом она уснула. Я решил поиграть в видео игры. Играл я долго пока не стемнело. Потом мне позвонил друг и начали мы общаться. Проснулась моя сестра и мы поели. Далее нас ожидал сюрприз. Приехали бабушка с дедушкой. Мне подарили большую коробку со сладостями и ей куклы. Я  сестра начали есть конфеты. Я запомню этот день надолго. К сожалению мне завтра в школу и мои бабушка с дедушкой уезжают. Я начал плакать  подошла мама и успокоила меня. Вот за что я люблю выходные даже в дождливую погоду.

Today was a bad day, because it was bad weather. It was rainy today. That's why I could not go for a walk. But at home I was not bored. All day I spent with my younger sister. We played and watched cartoons. I also read fairy tales to her. But then she fell asleep. I decided to play video games. I played for a long time until it got dark. Then a friend called me and started to talk. My sister woke up and we ate. Then we were waiting for a surprise. Grandma and grandfather arrived. I was given a big box of sweets and dolls. Sister and I started eating candy. I will remember this day for a long time. Unfortunately, tomorrow I go to school and my grandmother and grandfather leave. I started to cry and my mom came over and calmed me down. That's why I like the weekend even in rainy weather.
