На меня произвела огромное впечатление картина известного русского живописца К.Е. Маковского «Дети, бегущие от грозы». Художник изобразил двух крестьянских девочек, которые торопятся домой от надвигающейся грозы.
Природа разбушевалась. Свинцово-серые тучи заволокли небо, и ни один луч солнца не может пробиться сквозь них. Девочки бегут по мостику, перекинутому через речку, заросшую осокой и кувшинками. За речкой раскинулся луг, над которым нависло тяжелое предгрозовое небо. Порывистый ветер сгибает травы, прибивая их к земле.
У девочек испуганные лица. Старшая сильно беспокоится и постоянно смотрит в сторону, откуда ветер нагоняет тучи. Волосы ее растрепались, а розовый платок сполз с головы, но она не думает его поправлять. Сейчас важно успеть прибежать домой до наступления грозы. Девочка даже не смотрит под ноги, потому что бежит знакомой дорогой. Крестьянские дети с малых лет трудились наравне со взрослыми, вставали очень рано. И наши героини уже сходили в лес и возвращаются домой с полным лукошком грибов.
Младшая девочка прижалась всем телом к сестре, обхватив ее руками за шею и свесив босые ноги. Она сильно испугана, но не плачет, потому что надеется на то, что сестра ее от грозы.
У обеих девочек простые русские лица, с большими серыми глазами и маленькими курносыми носиками. У старшей светлые брови и русые пышные волосы, развевающиеся по ветру. Она раскраснелась от волнения и быстрого бега. У младшей пухлые румяные щечки, стриженые волосы, выгоревшие от солнца. Одежда ее проста: короткая розовая кофточка надета поверх платьица. Старшая одета в темно-зеленый сарафан и светлую кофточку, которую украшают разноцветные бусы.
Художник сумел показать красоту и величие русской природы перед наступлением грозы, мастерски изобразил крестьянских детей. И хочется верить в то, что девочки обязательно доберутся до дома благополучно.
