We left early, as the sun gently lightened the scenery around us. This light was made to be photographed! So, naturally, I struggled to keep up the whole time, which probably annoyed our guide. But again, how could I miss so many amazing shots?
We walked aroung the city a lot, which included dropping by a couple of cafes. John from the US tried a couple of local dishes. But I have always been wary of new foods, so I kept picking at the menu, trying to find something more familiar. And finally, I found it. It was delicious, which satisfied me. You know, if I ate like John, I certainly would not be able to continue our journey, since a lot of climbing awaited us.
However, John didn't stay behind, the one that had to keep up was still me. But could I not pay attention to those colorful birds, sitting on gigantic tropical trees? Could I not take photographs? They said, I was the slowest tourist that had ever visited Rio.
