Dear Mary,
Thank you for your letter. You asked me to tell you about my trip to St.Petersburg in summer. I went there with my family. We stayed in a nice hotel in the city centre. Luckily the weather was fine and we had long walks around the city.
We did a lot of sightseeing. We visited Hermitage and Russian Museum, because my mother is fond of arts. Personally I found the ship 'Avrora' the most exciting place. I had read much about it and was happy to see it with my own eyes. The city impressed me really!
Well, I must go now. My Mom wants me to help her.
Write back soon.
Best wishes,
Dear Mary,
I'm glad to get a letter from you! I'll try to answer all your questions.
Firstly, I would like to tell you about my family. I live in a cosy flat with my mum and dad. They're *профессии*. I'm a pupil now. Usually we're very busy, but in evenings we often spend time together.
We are like-minded persons, so I love books, films, etc like my parants love. We often visit cinemas and watch films at home, but much more we like to read. Together or alone, it depends on a day. We like different kinds of books. I like fantastic stories, my mum love romantic and my dad prefers detectives.
What kinds of books does your families like? What do you do on your weekends with your family? Tell me everything ;)
Now I should help my mum.
Waiting for your letter,
Alena
