Artists of the 1600s were often influenced by the rapid change in religion, politics and trade. Their art reflected the dynamic confusion, and energy of their times.
In this period, works of art became larger and more complicated. Artists showed extremes of , light and shadow.
Architecture became important again. The dark, interiors of the Gothic cathedrals gave way to the bright, gold-coloured swirls of the Baroque.
The master architect and of the time was Lorenzo Bernini of Italy who designed the huge, curved series of columns in front of St Peter’s Church.
He sculpted fantastic, swirling figures and filled Rome with active fountains.

I think that being a famous actor is very hard and responsible at the same time. Just imagine a lot of people looking at you when you are playing the role of Hamlet on the stage, for example. On the one hand, I like watching TV programs and films, but as for theatre I think that not so many people can understand this kind of art. Probably, this is the reason, why I have been to the theatre only twice with my parents. Those were the best days of my life though))). But on the other hand I find it very boring to sit for an hour or more on the chair looking at a couple of actors. There are a lot of things I would like to do much more, than this. I like playing computer games, riding a bicycle and eating pizza, which is my favorite food. Obviously, if you go to the theatre with your friends, anything can be wonderful.
