A Petition Against the Plastic Toys
Thousands of kid's magazines are sold every day worldwide. Some of the printed editions contain non-recyclable plastic toys. Publishing companies sell them with journals to attract
adult and kid's attention. These magazines (A)
"covermounts". They're made in China with a significant carbon footprint. The magazines travel long distances to get
to the UK.
Overall, the little toys are harmful to the environment, and each child (B) ＿ plenty of them. A10-year's old Skye receives more than 3 useless plastic toys with journals in her

Skye wanted to start her campaign after being inspired by two teenage girls who successfully petitioned McDonald's to ban plastic toys from its Happy Meals. Her petition urges publishers to prohibit the use of plastic in their publications.
