Last morning, when I (do) their homework, Angela (call) .She said she (call) me on her cell phone with her biology class. I asked her if she was (wait) for the class, but she said that the professor (to be) in front of the room lectures, and she (talk) to me. I could not believe that it (make) a phone call during the lecture. I asked what was going on. She said that her biology professor (to be) so bored that some of the students (to sleep) actually class.Some students (talk) about their plans for the weekend and the student next to her (to do), the picture of the horse. While we (talk), I (hear) her music professor, "Miss you make a phone call?". Suddenly the line (to go) is dead. I (hang) to the phone, and (go) to the kitchen to prepare dinner. As I (shear) vegetables for salad, phone rang again. This (is) Angela, but this time she (not sitting) in the classroom.

At the beginning of the eighteenth century, the maple leaf was adopted as an emblem by the French Canadians. Its popularity continued and in 1834. The maple leaf was one of numerous emblems proposed to represent the society. The first mayor of Montreal described the maple as "the king of our forest and the symbol of the Canadian people". The maple leaf slowly became a national symbol: in 1868, it was included in the coat of arms of both Ontario and Quebec, and was added o the Canadian coat of arms in 1921. The maple leaf finnaly bacame the central national symbol with the introductiom of the Canadian flag in 1965.
