Thanks for your letter. I was very glad to get it.
Well, as for popular holidays they are The New Year's Day, Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, Victory Day and others. I think you can find a lot of information on this topic on the Net). OK, I'd like to drop a few words about celebration of Easter in our family. You know Easter is one of the most colourful and interesting religious holidays for children and adults in many countries. For our family this holiday is one of the main holidays of the year.  Every year we are looking forward to this day and try to do our best to prepare well for Easter. I always try to take an active part in the preparations for the holiday. Preparations  are always  funny and interesting. We begin to prepare for this holiday in advance. We paint eggs, bake Easter cakes, prepare a lot of other tasty food.  My granny goes to church on Easter. She always buys chocolate eggs or bunnies for my brother and for me. We usually have a holiday dinner with our relatives on this day. I love this holiday.Now, you've mentioned the ceremony devoted to your finishing of school and I wonder if it usually takes place at school or in some other place.

Весной и летом Питер работает на ферме. Осенью фермер дает ему три монеты. Питер забирает их и идет в большой город. Он идет дальше и дальше в лес. Здесь облачно и ветрено. Вскоре он встречает мышь. Мышь говорит:"Питер мне! Здесь холодно и дождливо. Мои дети голодные. Дай мне свои монеты Я тебе, тоже." Петер думает:"А почему бы и нет? Люди дали мне немного хлеба, чтобы поесть." И так, Петер дает мыши свои деньги. 
Питер идет в город. Красивая, но грустная девочка Мэри живет в городе. Она не может найти свое красивое кольцо. Её отец говорит:"Я дам много монет человеку, который найдет кольцо Мэри." 
Питер просит мышь ему. Мышь бежит под стол, позади кресла, между диваном и гардеробом. Смотрите! Кольцо в левом углу кухни, рядом с камином. Марэ счастлива. Её папа счастлив тоже. Он дает Питеру много монет. Питер дает мыши много подарков для её детей.
