Best friends
Beth and Gemma are cousins and they’re the same age. They are also best friends. They live in the same town and they are in the same class at school. But the girls are very, very different! Beth loves sports and she swims every day. She gets up at 5.00 a.m. and goes swimming before school. Then, after school she goes to the gym and swims again! At the weekend she goes to different towns with her swimming team for competitions. On Sundays she stays at home and does her homework.
Gemma hates sports! She stays in bed every morning until 8.30 a.m. and at the weekend she stays in bed until 12.00! Gemma’s hobbies are shopping and parties! She goes shopping in town every Saturday afternoon with her friends and goes to a party on Friday nights. She goes to bed very late after the party! On Sundays she visits her brother and his wife. They have a baby and Gemma likes to play with her. Sometimes Gemma doesn’t do her homework and Beth helps her.
‘We’re very different and I don’t see Gemma often out of school, but we’re still best friends! We text and phone a lot,’ says Beth.
So, there is one thing they BOTH like to do. Talk!

Preparation
Potatoes, not peeled, rinse well.
The crude carrots also good wash.
Put the vegetables in a saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil and cook at low boil ~ 1-1.5 hours, until tender vegetables (but not razvarivaya).

ветчина или вареная колбаса (можно заменить отварной курицей) - 200-250г,картофель (средний) - 4 шт,морковь - 1 шт,яйца - 4 шт,лук репчатый (средняя луковица) - 1 шт,огурцы маринованные (корнишоны) - 4 шт,яблоко (кислое) - 1 шт (по желанию),горошек зеленый - 1 банка,майонез,соль,свежемолотый перец
Приготовление
Картофель, не очищая от кожуры, хорошо промыть.
Неочищенную морковь тоже хорошо вымыть.
Положить овощи в кастрюлю, залить водой, довести до кипения и варить при слабом кипении ~1-1,5 часа, до мягкости овощей (но не разваривая).
Готовые овощи вынуть из отвара и остудить.
Яйца положить в кипящую подсоленную воду и варить с момента закипания ~8-10 минут.
Затем переложить в миску с холодной водой, остудить и очистить.
Яйца порубить.
Картофель очистить от кожицы и нарезать небольшими кубиками.
С моркови срезать кожицу и тоже нарезать кубиками.
Лук очистить и мелко нарезать.
Корнишоны нарезать маленькими кубиками.
Яблоко вымыть, срезать кожуру и нарезать маленькими кубиками.
Ветчину (колбасу или курицу) тоже нарезать кубиками.

В миске соединить картофель, морковь, яблоко, ветчину, зеленый горошек, лук, корнишоны и яйца.

Немного посолить (учитывая, что салат будет заправляться майонезом) и поперчить свежемолотым перцем.
Заправить "Оливье перемешать, дать настояться и подавать к столу.
