Sport is an important part of every person's life. The Olympic Games, which
take place every four years, are a good example of competition. I'm a great
fan of these games. My favourite sport is figure-skating. I always follow the
news in the field of figure-skating and I try not to miss the beautiful shows of
this sport on TV. One of my best friends is a professional tennis player. She
goes in for tennis since early childhood and each time there is a local or
regional championship she takes part and often wins. The sport that I don't
like is football. It's a bit

Я родился 12-го марта. День рождения — очень замечательный день для меня. Март — весенний месяц, и погода обычно теплая. Утром родители заходят ко мне и говорят: «С днем рождения!». Они дарят мне подарки. Я люблю получать подарки. По случаю такого дня большинство людей проводят вечеринки. В этом году вечеринка по случаю дня рождения проходила у меня дома. Мы с родителями подготовились к этому дню. Мы пригласили друзей и родственников на вечеринку. Я отмечал свой день рождения в воскресенье. Я встал рано утром. Мы с отцом сходили в магазин и на рынок, купили все необходимое. Мама осталась дома. Она испекла пироги и накрыла на стол. В четыре часа родственники и друзья приехали меня поздравить, и я был рад их видеть. Они принесли цветы, книги, конфеты и подарки. Я поблагодарил всех. В этот день у нас был хороший праздничный обед. На веселой вечеринке мы пели песни, танцевали, шутили и говорили о своей жизни, увлечениях и будущем. Мне очень понравилась вечеринка по случаю моего дня рождения. I was born on the 12th of March. Birthday is a very remarkable day for me. March is a spring month and usually the weather is warm. In the morning my parents come to my place and say: "Happy Birthday!" They give me presents. I enjoy getting them. Most people have a birthday party on this day. This year I have my birthday party at home. My parents and I prepared for this day. We invited my friends and relatives to the party. I celebrated my birthday on Sunday. I got up early in the morning. My father and I went to the shop and to the market to buy everything we needed for the party. My mother stayed at home. She made cakes and laid the table. At four o'clock my relatives and friends came to congratulate me and I was glad to see them. They brought flowers, books, sweets and presents. I thanked them all. We had a good holiday dinner on this day. During our merry party we sang songs, danced, made jokes and spoke about our life, hobbies, and future. I enjoyed my birthday party.

It’s a well-known fact that a family plays a great role in our life. Each person gets from his family the best things he can ever get: selfless love, boundless hope, reliable support and deep understanding. Это хорошо известный факт, что семья играет большую роль в нашей жизни. Каждый человек получает в своей семье лучшее, что когда-либо может получить: бескорыстную любовь, безграничную надежду, надежную поддержку и глубокое понимание. What is more, our family teaches us to love, be kind, caring and honest. But, if somebody asks me why I love my family, I won’t find the answer. There are no reasons for love: they are my dearest people and that’s enough. Более того, наша семья учит нас любить, быть добрыми, честными и заботливыми. Но, если кто-то спрашивает меня, почему я люблю свою семью, я не найду ответ. Не нужны причины, чтобы любить: они самые дорогие для меня люди, и этого достаточно. My family is not huge. It consists of mom, my dad, grandmother, grandfather and me. To my mind, all of them have some common character traits. They are caring, cheerful, reliable and trustworthy. I appreciate these things very much. Моя семья не большая. В нее входят мама, мой папа, бабушка, дедушка и я. На мой взгляд, все они имеют некоторые общие черты характера. Они заботливые, веселые, надежные и заслуживают доверия. Я очень ценю эти качества.
