Residents of the Japanese tsunami will be surprised, they have the force of sufficiently powerful tsunami every few years. The fact that the main cause of a tsunami is an underwater earthquake, and Japan is located in one of the most volatile in terms of seismological regions of the planet. Earthquakes occur regularly in Japan, so that the Japanese are no strangers to the tsunami. But March 11, 2011 was the strongest earthquake in the history of Japan (available in the earthquake mind is taken into account after the start observing them) and included in the top five most powerful earthquakes on record in the world - its magnitude was 9 units. The epicenter of the quake was located 70 kilometers off the northeast coast of Japan, and therefore the most powerful blow engendered by their tsunami fell exactly on this country.
