Reading is a great way to spend time. My favorite genre is a fantasy, as long as that it's a good literature. I also like historical, realistic, and classic novels. I learned to read early and books had a great  influence on my life. Books help me to be successful at school, to use my imagination. Books encourage me to explore new things, help me to understand people much better. Sometimes I like to read documentaries and reference books, biographies and autobiographies. But when I want to relax, I read detective stories or science fiction. All this week I`ve been reading Boris Akunin`s book- "Fantasy". I`ve had  a lot of fun and I recommend it to anyone who likes good   literature.

There are many famous people in our republic. Among them you can find the names of politicians and public figures, intellectuals and scientists, heroes of war and labour, sportsmen and artists. First of all I'd like to mention the name of our outstanding national writers Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas. They created a new Belarusian Literature and a Belarusian literatury language. Both are considered to be the classics of Belorusian literature. These names are followed by a number of other well-known writers and poets, such as K. Krapiva, Chorny, Brovka, Shamyakin, Tank, Bykov, Korotkevich, Gilevich, Loyka, Adamovich known both in our country and abroad. Their works are translated into many European languages.
