Niagara Falls, one of the most North American natural wonders, has long been a popular destination. Tourists today flock to see the two falls that actually comprise Niagara Falls: the 53-meter high Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side and 5-meter high American falls on the U.S side and the river. Most visitors come between April and October, and it’s quite a popular activity to take a steamer out into the river and right up to the base of the falls for a close-up view.
